Who Qualifies as an Affiliate Member?
Affiliate membership is open to firms or corporations that are not wholesalers or manufacturers, but regularly provide services to companies in the industry. This can include processing lumber, wood products, or building materials owned by others, as this is considered a service.
If a company both processes products for others and sells its own processed products, membership classification is determined by whichever accounts for the highest percentage of sales.
Affiliate members have voting rights, may serve as a Director (up to two seats), and are eligible to hold an At-Large Executive Committee position.
