About

NAWLA remains committed to the future of the lumber industry, so we are proud to continue to support the NAWLA Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to support education, foster talent, and empower individuals to pursue their goals. Through this program, NAWLA is helping the next generation of lumber professionals continue to drive innovation and grow our industry!

Scholarships are awarded to students planning to attend a higher-education institution (post-high school) in the fall of 2026. Any career field or major is eligible. Submissions are selected based on academic performance, school and community involvement and a personal essay. Each scholarship is a one-time award of $2,500 but may be resubmitted for annually.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a full- or part-time employee at a current NAWLA member company in good standing, OR a child whose parent/legal guardian works full-or part-time at a current NAWLA member company.
  • Must be accepted, and attending in Fall 2026, a North American-based technical school, vocational school, college, or university.
