In response to member feedback expressing a desire for entry-level industry guidance, the North American Wholesale Lumber Association (NAWLA) has embarked on a process to develop and deliver a new mentoring program, matching seasoned industry professionals with those who are more junior in their careers. The first class of mentees will be our 2023 YELP class.
- Equip the junior members with industry tools to successfully grow their careers and experiences.
- Further NAWLA's mission of helping the industry grow by helping our members grow.
- Create communities of colleagues at similar and different points in their careers from different companies.
Call for Mentors
The ideal mentor possesses at least 10 years of management, supervisory and/or financial management experience (in any field), and is a current or incumbent senior leader of a forest products industry company or division who wishes to share leadership and management skills with future leaders.
